These attacks have come in the form of changing voting laws to specifically target our community by implementing strict photo ID requirements that introduce the first financial barriers to voting since the poll tax, eliminating early and Sunday voting to make it more difficult for working people to get to the polls in time, and implementing racially-motivated bans on ex-prisoners' voting.
